RESIDENT STUDENTS - What you need to Know...

  • Millersville University provides Local dial tone service to all students who reside in Resident Halls; outside Emergency Phones and hallway telephones are also located throughout campus. In order to place long distance or directory assistance calls, students will need to obtain a calling card from the telephone company of choice. Students also have the option of placing outgoing collect calls from their rooms.
  • Resident Students will receive notification of their telephone number from the Housing Department prior to the start of the semester.
  • Each room in the resident halls, will have one active jack (upper far left corner of modular plate) per room.
  • No need to bring an answering machine, individual voicemail service is provided.
  • A touchtone telephone will be needed.
