
While state-of-the-art in the 1960's, Stayer Hall today is stretched beyond its capacity in terms of technology and space. For MU to continue educating extraordinarily talented and well prepared teachers, it must provide state of the art classrooms and learning technology that supports the diverse ways we learn.
The new School of Education Building design will support the needs of the departments it will house (Education Foundations, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education). Additionally, it will be the University's first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified building.
By definition, a green building is one whose construction and operation assure a healthy environment and efficient use of resources. Millersville University is committed to the "green" design and construction of this building.
