Local Currency: Describes currencies that are used by groups with a common bond, like members of a locality, or association.

Micro Lending: The extension of very small loans to impoverished borrowers who typically lack collateral, steady employment and verifiable credit history.

Disney Dollars: A form of cooperate scrip sold by Walt Disney and redeemable for goods or services at many Disney facilities.

Downtown Dollars: A program that is an exciting way to do business downtown.  It helps customers feel good about shopping downtown.

Grant: An agreement to give or to allow something that is requested.

Harry Brice: The first person to suggest Disney World using their own form of currency. 

Trex Proffitt: A professor at Franklin and Marshall University and entrepreneur in Lancaster city.
