Educate/Demonstrate>Teaching Sustainability to Children

Cloud seeding: any technique of adding material to a cloud to alter its natural development, usually to increase or obtain precipitation

Curriculum: the aggregate of courses of study given in a school, college, university, etc.

Eco-centric: a philosophy or perspective that places intrinsic value on all living organisms and their natural environment, regardless of their perceived usefulness or importance to human beings.

Fungicide: a substance or preparation, as a spray or dust, used for destroying fungi.

Herbicide: a substance or preparation for killing plants, especially weeds.

Interdisciplinary : Combining or involving two or more academic disciplines or fields of study

Orienteering: a sport that tests the skills of map reading and cross-country running, in which competitors race through an unknown area to find various checkpoints by using only a compass and topographical map.

Preserve: an area where plants, animals, minerals, etc., are protected

Techno-centric: denotes a value system that is centered on technology and its ability to control and protect the environment.

Sustainability: the quality of not being harmful to the environment or depleting natural resources, and thereby supporting long-term ecological balance.
