Millersville University is one of only ten universities in the United States to be selected to work with the esteemed Renaissance Group to develop the
Renaissance-Teacher Work Sample Methodology (R-TWSM). Faculty from the Elementary and Early Childhood Education
Department have developed protocols for guiding Professional Block Students and Student Teachers in preparing Teacher Work Samples. In these Teacher Work Samples our students demonstrate that they can use National, State, and Local Standards to develop Instructional Goals, Assessments, and Instructional Designs, and document that their teaching has directly impacted P-12 student learning.
