The Center is located in Stayer Education Center. With approximately 8,000 volumes in its holdings, it serves as a
library with short-term circulation for
student use as well as a book examination center for teachers and librarians in southeastern Pennsylvania. Each year publishers in the children's and young adult markets send their new publications. Books published during the current year do not circulate, making them available for review by teachers, librarians, and Millersville students before they purchase a book for their classrooms, libraries or personal collections. Books from previous publication years may be checked out for a brief period.
The Center is open during the Fall and Spring semesters and, beginning the summer of 2004, during Summer Sessions I and II. Hours of operation are available by calling 717-872-3851.
