In time for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Millersville is hosting an exhibition on “Icons of a Border Installation,”  a photographic search for traces of the Berlin Wall in today’s Berlin. The exhibition, based on photos taken by students of the University of Paderborn and accompanied by German and English texts, is sponsored by the Goethe Institute and shown in various locations in the US. To open the exhibit, there will be a presentation by Ms. Cornelia Jarasch, Political and Cultural Affairs Consul, Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, New York, and Dr. Marianne Washburn, Pedagogical Liaison Officer of the Goethe Institute New York, followed by a reception. The exhibit will be at Millersville until Feb. 13. For more information, please contact Dr. Susanne Nimmrichter, Department of Foreign Languages, at extension 3529.
