Curriculum changes to BSE English Education Degree
Curriculum changes in BA Music Options:
Elimination of the BA Music, History/Theory Option
Changes in BA Music, Music Emphasis in Music Industry Studies
Comments: It is understood by the department that the Music Indsutry
Studies component of this degree remains an option to the BA-Music degree.
This title provides language requested by the accreditation agency.
BA Music, Pedagogy/Performance Option replaced by BA Music (no
COMMENTS: The department of Music has verified no change in the
Foreign language and Musical Accoustics requirements as required related
courses in the BA Music degree program. Thus, there is no impact on the
Foreign Languages or Physics Departments. In addition, the department
verified that the number of hours required in the major is 61 (not 66) and
that the number of required related hours is 9 (not 14 hours of general
