Two meetings to challenge courses:
CSCI140: Discrete Structures, a new four credit hour nonGeneral Education course to be first offered in the Spring of 1997 if approved.
CSCI240: Computational Models, a new four credit hour nonGeneral Education course to be first offered in the Spring of 1997 if approved.
CSCI270: Computer Architecture, a new four credit hour nonGeneral Education course to be first offered in the Spring of 1997 if approved.
One meeting to challenge course:
PSCI412: Constitutional Law: "Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, a new three credit hour nonGeneral Education course to be first offered in the Spring of 1997 if approved.
IX. Faculty Senate Elections
Senate will continue its annual elections for open positions on senate committees. Among other positions, senate needs to fill a nonschool position that expires in 1997 on the Noonan Fund Committee. It also needs to elect a chairperson of the Academic Policies Committee whose term excpires in 1997.
