READING AND LANGUAGE ARTS EDUCATION
The Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education offers programs in literacy education leading to Reading Specialist Certification and Reading Supervisor Certification for both elementary and secondary teachers who possess an Instructional Certificate in Pennsylvania. In addition, a Master’s Degree for Reading and Language Arts Education offers the student the opportunity to participate in original research and experimental programs in this field.
