Objective

This is a good, name game activity.

Instructions

Have participants mill about the room. As the milling begins, suggest that they introduce themselves to one another using the phrase, "My name is ____________, and I am from _______________."

As folks are milling about introducing themselves, yell out the manner in which they should introduce themselves. Some examples are:

- a famous opera singer
- someone timid and shy
- a very frightened individual
- a smilling car salesman
- someone with great warmth and empathy
- a military commander
- a famous country and western singer
- a suspicious parent (meeting their son/daughter's first date)
