All Millersville University students who complete the requirements for an initial teacher education certificate through a master's degree or an approved program of post-baccalaureate or post-graduate studies will be required to take a battery of tests in basic skills, general knowledge, professional knowledge, and knowledge of subjects in which they seek certification. Mandated by the State Board of Education, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, these tests must be passed in order to qualify for the Instructional I, Level I, or other Professional Personnel Certificates.
