Section 4: Graduate Studies

Time Limit

Work for the degree may be pursued over several years which need not be in succession but must be included in a five year period and must meet the residency requirement of the Graduate Studies Office. The five year period begins with the first course taken once accepted into a degree program. An extension of time, usually an additional year, beyond this five year limit may be granted by the Graduate Studies Dean, at the request of the student, upon the recommendation of the adviser and graduate program coordinator.
