To avoid any possible conflict of interest, a one-to-one teaching
assignment (i.e., Independent Study or Individualized Instruction) or
supervisory assignment, (i.e., co-op or internship) resulting in extra
pay compensation is prohibited for a faculty member when it concerns
either his/her spouse or dependent child under the tuition fee waiver
policy. Under extraordinary circumstances, this policy may be waived
with prior approval of the provost.
