2nd Annual Millersville Academic Festival
May 16, 2007
Call for Proposals
The Center for the Academic Excellence and the Office of Graduate Studies and Research at Millersville University will host its second annual Academic Festival in the Bolger Conference Center on Wednesday May 16, 2007. To prepare for this community wide event, the Academic Festival Program Committee is seeking proposals for roundtable discussions, lectures, performances, posters and other presentations and exhibits to include in the 2007 Festival schedule. While faculty members, staff and librarians are invited to submit proposals on any subject that broadly addresses pedagogy, and scholarly and creative production among members of the MU community, proposals on particular issues that invite multiple points of view are especially encouraged. This year the Academic Festival will involve both a plenary session and several concurrent sessions. Concurrent sessions will be scheduled for about 75 minutes in length. We hope for lively competition from a range of academic disciplines and departments for inclusion in the 2007 Festival program. Please submit your proposals (no more than 250 words) before Friday, March 23, 2007. Please print a copy of this form for your files prior to submitting.
