MUOnline: Distance Learning

Through the MUOnline program, Millersville University provides flexibility and convenience to students while maintaining academic quality at the highest levels. Distance learning (DL) takes place when students and faculty members are separated from each other by location or time. By offering flexible and convenient access to the course materials and assignments, DL is attractive to a wide variety of students.

MUOnline courses are formatted in one of two ways - online or blended. Online courses are courses that meet completely online either via Blackboard. Blended courses are courses that require some traditional face-to-face meeting time, as well as supplemental interaction using MU's online programming, video conferencing, or independent study.
