Guy Kurtz Bard Award (Prize awarded to a senior for outstanding ability in political science and history.  This award is made to a history major in even-numbered years and a political science major in odd-numbered years.)

Joseph E. Walker American History Scholarship (Priority awarded to a junior who has indicated an intent to teach American history at the elementary, secondary, or college level.  Next priority would be given to a junior who is majoring in American history.  This would include the applied history major.)

2008: Phil Kyle

Joan Williams Scholarship (Awarded to an Education student who has completed his/her junior year and who is concentrating in history.  The award is based on prior academic performance.  The student should best exemplify the love of learning, courage, determination, honesty, and a sense of humor.)

C. Maxwell & Edna Myers History Scholarship (Granted to a history major who has earned a minimum of 85 credits.  Award based on academic accomplishment and service to the department and the University.)

Koppel Memorial Award in European History (Awarded to a graduating senior who excels in the study of European History.

Richard C. Keller American History Award (Awarded to a senior student who has show excellence in the study of American history.)
