Honors College

Scholarships

The Honors College has a limited number of scholarships available to incoming first- year students. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and other criteria holistically applied to scholarship applications. Scholarships are renewable for four years providing the student remains in the Honors College and maintains the grade point average required as follows: 3.0 Freshman and Sophomore years, 3.25 Junior year, and at least 3.35 Senior year.

Honors Housing

The Honors College has Honors housing located in Diehm Hall. Not all Honors students live in Honors housing although incoming freshmen are now required to live in the Honors wing of Diehm Hall for at least their first semester at Millersville University unless they are a local student commuting from home to MU each day. Many Honors students live in other residence halls on campus among the general student population. If you have been offered admission in the Honors College, you must indicate Honors housing on the housing postcard you receive from Residential Programs in the information packet sent to each incoming student. The request for Honors housing must be returned to Housing and Residential Programs before the deadline indicated on Residential forms.
