  • Includes Elmo, PC (Web and Powerpoint), VCR and DVD
  • Two remote controlled cameras:
    • Camera 1: Pointed at the front of the classroom and instructor
    • Camera 2: This camera is located in the front of the room and is pointed toward the class for remote viewing of the class participants
  • Two 50" monitors in the front of the room that show local and remote video to the local site
  • Two 35" monitors suspended from the ceiling to allow the participants seated in the rear of the classroom to have a better view of the local and remote video
  • One 38" monitor in the back of the classroom that allows the instructor to see the remote site
  • An instructor's podium is located in the front of the room for lecture scenarios. This podium includes the following equipment:
    • Two 5" LCD monitors showing local and remote video
    • One Elmo document camera allows the display of solid objects, opaque paper and transparencies
  • A Windows PC with a wireless keyboard and mouse for PowerPoint presentations and web access
  • "Push-to-talk" microphones: located at every desk

Millersville University's video conferencing facilities are centrally located on campus in Bassler Hall room 121 and Boyer room 244. To reserve either room please fill out the Video Conferencing Room Request Form.
