Diane Duell coordinates first meeting with client to begin website discussion. Relay important information: client should come prepared to discuss goals/objectives for the site, and invite others who would contribute to discussion. Client should be prepared to discuss timeframes and adhere to set production schedules. Diane to send client Web Toolkit prior to meeting.
Diane Duell meets with client to discuss toolkit and complete Worksheet 1.
Web Toolkit Contents:
Following meeting: Diane Duell to create Production Schedule- outlining action item, date, and individual(s) responsible. Distribute to client, copy entire web team and post on WebTeam Wiki.
Content Inventory: Refer to Website Development Process packet in Toolkit. Client to assess content and establish inventory of existing and needed website content. Draft all copy in Word, and identify special needs (imagery, marketing language).
Diane Duell to coordinate second meeting with client and representative from UC&M. Review content inventory and the first content draft provided by client. Worksheet 2 (site structure) to be completed during meeting for Web & Multimedia use.
Client to send completed content to Cong Nguyen for design production.
Following web design, web programming completion by Adam Risser.
Following programming, Web Team reviews site as group. Further site refinement if necessary.
Client review. Further site refinement if necessary.
