My'Ville accounts are automatically created for each student upon admission. No action is required by you in order to receive this account. Your my'Ville account will be the username and password you use for many services across campus including access to the student email system known as MarauderMail.
Usernames are created using your first initial, your middle initial, and the first 6 characters of your last name. If you have no middle initial, use the first two letters of your first name, followed by the first 6 letters of the last name.
Usernames for students admitted before Fall 1999 were created using a different format. If you are unsure of your username, use the "Need a hint" link on the my'Ville login page. Enter your "M" number and birth date when prompted.
Your email address is made by concatenating your username and "@marauder.millersville.edu".
Your initial password is your date of birth in MMDDYY format.
You should change your password as soon as possible. See the "Changing Your Password" section of this document for more information on how to change your password.
We recommend that you change your password on a regular basis to protect your account. Treat your password like the PIN number for your ATM card - never give it away. Use a password that is easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess. A strong password is not found in a dictionary and combines length (at least 8 characters), both upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation.
You can change your password on the my'Ville login page by following the "Change Password" link. Enter your "M" number and birth date when prompted. A confirmation email will be sent to your MarauderMail account.
Changing your my'Ville password affects all systems that use your my'Ville account for authentication (i.e. MarauderMail, wireless, Resnet/CCA, etc).
