IRB at Millersville University

The Millersville University Institutional Review Board (MUIRB) for the Protection of Human Subjects reviews all research involving human subjects to ensure compliance with the Code of Federal Regualtions on the Protection of Human Subjects. For further guidance, Millersville University has adopted the Belmont Report as its statement of ethical principles and guidelines for the protection of human subjects. This website provides guidance for faculty, staff, students, and other planning to conduct research with human participants under the aegis of Millersville University. The Guidelines contain a description of the principles and procedures governing research with human subjects. A Protocol is provided for submission of proposals for approval by the IRB.

IRB Meeting Dates Fall 2008

  • Fall meeting dates are:
    • 2nd Tuesdays of each month: Sept. 9th, Oct. 14th, Nov. 11th, and Dec. 9th
  • Meetings are scheduled from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Stayer Hall, Room #224.
  • Proposals requiring a full Board review must be submitted ten days in advance of the meetings.
