The 56th Annual TEAP Conference:
"The Future: Make it
Happen"
November 6-8, 2008
This year's conference is packed full of interesting and exciting opportunities for Technology Educators to come together and make our field the best it can be. Some of the interesting highlights of this years TEAP conference include the TEAP Council for Leadership forum led by TEAP president Jeff Lorson and with help from Joanne Trombley. The forum will feature a “Think Tank” discussion on pressing issues facing Technology Education. The TEAP Tech Fest, hosted by Ed Frescoln, is a great way to network with educators in an informal setting and share creative ideas on how to better educate our students. As usual, there will be many outstanding special interest sessions offered by prestigious educators and vendors. Please be sure to stop by and visit the many vendors and see what they have to offer. Also, please take the time to thank them for making our conference one of the best in the U.S. The Industry Tours planned for this year include the Harley Davidson Factory in York (Thursday) and Wolfgang Candy (Friday). Please pre-register so our Tours Chair can give the plants an estimate on attendees. TEAP would also like to welcome the return of the spouse's program. Don't get confused with the title! Guests and 'significant others' are welcome too! Enjoy a day at the Hotel Hershey Spa and activities in the President's Suite including wine tasting!
For more information, check out the TEAP conference page for a detailed schedule of Thursday and Friday’s events.
