This table stays true to classic antique tilt-top tables, featuring a beautiful dished out top with a shapely cove and round over on the outer edge. The solid, hand-turned column features attractive beads, coves, and straight sections carefully designed to draw the eye downward to the classic and curvaceous cabriole style legs with pad style feet. These tables will be produced in walnut and mahogony, featuring sliding dovetail joinery.

Eight students are working together to complete a production run of Deacon's benches. It was designed to be not only an attractive addition to any home, but a functional one as well. Some of the unique features of this product are the ornate machine carved design on the back splats, graceful raised panels on the front and sides of the seats, and a generous storage compartment tucked beneath the hinged seat.

The group of craftsmen set out to design and create a solution for modern home entertainment center needs. This media center affords a generous amount of room to house either tube or flat-screen televisions, VCR and DVD players, and gaming systems. The prototype is shown here unfinished and with an ebonized finish. After considering finishes, the designer chose solid red oak to take to production. It was also decided that a set of glass doors will be included on the final product.

This group has created a refreshingly whimsical occaisional table offering. This creative approach to a common form features playful angles and notches on the aprons, drawer front, and top. The attitude continues to draw your eye down over the splayed legs that were created using the off-center lathe turning techique. Two contrasting woods, cherry and maple, will be used to further add to the interest.
