Millersville University operates under a team management approach. Administrators, faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to work together in a team effort to make sure that all our endeavors are of the highest possible quality and that problems are addressed and resolved from a viewpoint of multiple perspectives. Indeed, our mission states that we pledge ourselves to "unfettered discourse" and "the exchange of divergent and controversial opinion . . . within an environment of civility, mutual respect and cooperation."
