Dr. Ross W. Ellison, Instructor

Dr. Ellison is an honors graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where he majored in
organ. He earned both Master of Music degree in organ and Doctor of Philosophy degree in musicology at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as a graduate teaching assistant in organ and
music theory. Dr. Ellison has pursued additional study at Westminster Choir College (choral conducting and
music administration) and in Freiburg, Germany (organ performance and literature). He holds both the
Colleague and Choirmaster certificate from the national examining board of the American Guild of Organists,
and has been a featured recitalist both at Longwood Gardens and at the historic Bruton Parish Church in
Colonial Williamsburg (where he performs annually on the church's recital series). The founder and owner
of University Music Service in Hershey, Dr. Ellison is a professional music bibliographer and dealer,
providing bibliographic expertise and printed classical music for institutional clients throughout the
United States and abroad.
