Music Minor:
- 1. Any student may become a music minor. Upon registering, she/he will take a
placement exam for theory. This will determine whether they will take MUS 103 HONORS, or MUS 104.
- 2. Students MAY audition on a major instrument. If accepted at MUSIC MAJOR level
on that instrument, they may use 3 or 6 credits toward their Music electives.
- 3. Students may use any combination of ensembles to satisfy their 6 credit
requirement (i.e. 3 semesters concert band, 1 semester orchestra, 1semester jazz ensemble, 1 semester
choir).

- Major Performance 3 (students must AUDITION to be admitted to private lessons -
student must demonstrate ability equal to music major on desired instrument. Audition may occur at any time)
- Major Performance 3 (students may continue with lessons to satisfy elective requirement, if desired)

- Music Bus. - Classical 192 3
- Electronic Music 204 3
- Pop Music 263 2
- Symphonic Music 265 (W) 3
- American Music 267 (W) 3
- World Music 368 (P) 3
