Student Advocacy

Students can rely on a staff dedicated solely to work for students' academic and personal well being.

Accessible and Available Personalized Services

A group of trained counselors provide individualized services to the student.  The ratio counselor/freshmen students is one counselor per 20 students.  For upper class students, individualized services are available by the request of the student.  

Financial Aid and Academic Standards Appeals

Program staff assist students facing Academic Standards and Financial Aid difficulties by guiding them through the appeal process and writing letters of support on the student's behalf.

Connections to Faculty and MU Offices

Program faculty works closely with faculty and MU offices such as Admissions, Financial Aid, the Bursar, Residence Life, Academic Advisement, the Registrar, among others to insure proper services.
