Workflow:

Setting up:

• Position your camcorder on a tripod
• Power up the camcorder
• Link the camcorder to the computer
• Launch your capture software
• Frame the scene as tightly as you can
  
• Include a scale object in the plane of the motion
• Set your shutter speed fast enough to freeze the action
  
• You may want to manually set your focus and exposure too
  

Making your movie:

• Click "Record"
• When the action ends, click "Stop"
• Play your captured movie
• Remove unwanted early frames by selecting your "First" frame
• Remove unwanted late frames by selecting your "Last" frame
• Choose the number of frames desired from the drop-down list
• Click "Keep" to preview your edited movie
• Click "Save" and note your movie's name and location

Open your movie in VideoPoint or Logger Pro for analysis
