Bea Grosh did both her undergraduate and graduate work at Indiana University (in Bloomington, IN). She earned a BA in Psychology and Human Development, as well as a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology with minors in Cognitive Psychology and Statistics.

At Millersville University, she teaches General Psychology (PSYC 100), Cognitive Psychology (PSYC 314), Principles of Statistics and Experimental Design I (PSYC 211), and occasionally Principles of Statistics and Experimental Design II (PSYC 212). As the director of the Departmental Honors Program, she also leads the Honors Seminar (PSYC 490) and supervises undergraduate and graduate research projects. In the graduate program, she teaches Research Design and Statistical Analysis (PSYC 612) and is involved in writing and grading of the research methods and statistics comprehensive exam.

She has served on many university committees, including the Student Research Conference Committee, the Academic Outcomes Assessment Committee, the Promotion and Tenure Committee, the Noonan Committee, the Faculty Grants Committee, the Commencement Speaker Committee, and the Judicial Board.  In the Psychology Department, she is a member of the Undergraduate Committee and the Outcomes Assessment Committee. She has also served on the Professional Development Committee, the Search Committee, the Grant Committee, the Facilities and Equipment Committee, and numerous ad hoc committees. She supervises the graduate assistants in the department, and advises undergraduate majors and minors.

Research interests include pedagogy, literacy, memory, cognitive development, and factors influencing college success. Personal interests include John (husband), Johnny (son), Lizzie (daughter), music, and religion.
