Institute Information
Credits - All participants will receive three (3) graduate credits toward their professional development, which can also be used toward a certificate in Environmental Science or a M.S. in Environmental Sciences when those MU programs are in place . The institute will include a graded field project with analysis of carbon and nutrient budgets, and a graded comprehensive classroom exercise that participants are expected to use in their classrooms.

Fees - Price includes tuition and fees for a 3-credit graduate course, in addition to a $165 institute tuition charge. All handouts, materials, and meals (dinner is not provided) are included. Participants are responsible for purchasing the required text through the MU Bookstore or through other online venues. Purchases can be made via phone, email, or by visiting the bookstore on campus.
General Information - Registration for summer institutes will be available online via MAX beginning April 8, 2008. The necessary course information for online registration for this institute, BIOL 602, Summer Session II. Note: If you have not taken any graduate-level course or workshop at Millersville University within the past 5 years, you must complete the online non-degree admission form; this information is necessary to admit you to the university.
Cancellation Policy - Full refund minus $205 nonrefundable fee will be issued if notice of withdrawal is given to the Office of Professional Training and Education by June 2, 2008. All participants will receive a confirmation letter, parking tag, and campus map.
