SOCIOLOGY MAJOR SCHEDULES - Transfer Students/Major Changes

These schedules are designed to give you a set of guidelines as to when you should be taking certain courses. The Sociology and Sociology/Criminology majors are designed with a series of sequences in mind, and not taking those sequences in order can lead to catastrophic results for your timely graduation.

You need to be aware of when certain courses need to be taken; failure to take them on time will also slow you down. These courses are:

Finally, you are required to complete your Sophomore Review before being officially admitted to the Sociology major. Please be sure to complete this in a timely manner. Following these schedules and maintaining regular contact with your advisor should ensure your timely graduation. Be sure to meet with your advisor before registering for classes each semester and before making any decision about adding or dropping a course.
