How do Ship students login to the Millersville Blackboard courses?

The procedure for Shippensburg students logging into the Millersville Blackbord system is similar, but different then Millersville students logging into the Millersville system.

  • Shippensburg student USERNAMES begin with two letters followed by four number followed by the @ship.edu
    Example would be: Lisa Thomas, lt2345@ship.edu (ship usernames are their email addresses)
  • Shippensburg student PASSWORDS are NOT the same as they use on the Shippensburg's Bb. If you change your password on Shippensburg's Bb it does not change it on Millersville's Bb system. The...
    • DEFAULT passwords are configured to begin with the first four letters of the last name followed by the birthdate as YYYYMMDD.
      Example could be: Lisa Thomas, born July 24, 1987 – Bb password: thom19870724
    . If the student's birthdate does not work, they should contact their professor to see if their account was created with a special password.
