    A funny, upbeat, three-person performance of everything Shakespeare wrote … all 37 plays in less than two hours!

    Do you want to know more about some of the services/programs offered here at Millersville?  The Women’s Center, Alcohol & Other Drugs office, the Registrar’s office and Residential Life will be offering presentations during this time.  The presentations available are as follows:


    The Real Deal Regarding Alcohol and Other Drug Use here at Millersville

    A session with John Baltzer, the AOD Guy, to help parents understand what’s really happening on campus, what you need to know to support your student in forming a healthy relationship with alcohol, identifying at risk students, as well as interventions and help that is available to your sons daughters and families.

    Nutrition:  The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

    New food pyramids?  Weight-loss myths? A super-sized society?  No wonder it’s hard to stay healthy these days!  This program takes a look at nutrition choices and healthy, and helps individuals to evaluate their current diets.  Through this program, participants will recognize the importance of a healthy diet and understanding the life long benefits of good nutrition.

    Candae Dean, our University Registrar, offers a session intended to give parents and students a better understanding of how to obtain information from the University as well as how the rules have changed now that your student is in college. 

    Virtual History Tour
    SMC 50 & 51
    Our Orientation Leaders will lead parents and students on a tour of campus without even leaving the room! This tour differs from a regular campus tour in that the audience will be introduced to the history and legacy of the campus throughout the presentation.

    Our annual Family Weekend brunch is buffet style and will be served in Lehr Dining Room, located in Gordinier.  Tickets for the Family Feast will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.  Seating will be limited to 450 people.

    4:30pm – Murder Myster Dinner

    Think you can figure out who did it?  Join us for this interactive program/dinner in the SMC MPR where you become the dective.  This event is limited to 150 people and tickets will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

    Pre-ordered tickets for the Picnic Luncheon, football game, and MU Student Showcase may be picked up throughout the day at different locations. Tickets will first be available in the Student Memorial Center Lobby on Saturday morning of Family Weekend. The tickets will then be available at the Picnic Luncheon at Wickersham Greens by the lake, (or at Gordinier Dinning Hall in the event of inclement weather). From the end of the Picnic Luncheon until the end of the football game, tickets may be picked up at the Biemsderfer Stadium ticket window. Any remaining tickets will be available at the MU Student Showcase, Lyte Auditorium, Alumni Hall. Please bring a driver’s license or other form of identification. Tickets will be held under the name of the family member listed on the first line of the reservation form.
