| What are we? |
The MEDAL Staff Development Fund is an employee funded source of grant monies for University staff
needing financial assistance for education and skills development. Funds are managed by the MEDAL Staff Development
Committee, and are disbursed in the form of development grants to members
of the MU staff.

MEDAL Fund Grant Request Form |
The MEDAL Staff Development Committee awards professional development grants to members of Millersville University's
non-instructional staff. Funding is provided for conferences, workshops or special coursework that results in skill
development or improvement which benefits both the individual and the University.
Grants are awarded for conference/workshop fees and travel that are not fully funded by the department or other university resource. Funds will not be awarded for work that is part of a regular degree program, or travel that is unrelated to skills development or improvement. | How to help? |
MEDAL is funded by employee contributions and through fund-raising trips. To become a contributing member of MEDAL
contact Tammy Powell at (717)872-3280 in the University Development Office, or email your name and department to
MEDAL Fund.
Or, you may want to consider a trip through the Alumni Travel Program. A portion of the proceeds from most trips helps to support the MEDAL Staff Development Fund.
