How can I obtain a complete listing of all summer courses at Millersville?
A web version of the complete summer schedule bulletin, including text and course listings, is available on our Registrar's website. You are also encouraged to view our online Undergraduate Catalog or our online Graduate Catalog. If you don’t have web access contact the Registrar’s Office at (717) 872-3035 or Registrar@millersville.edu to have a paper copy mailed to you.

What course is best for me?
Contact the Academic Advisement Office at (717) 872-3257 or Adviser@millersville.edu for advice on courses that best meets your interests, needs, and program requirements.

Where should I start if I want to take a summer course?

If you are already a Millersville student, you may register using MAX web or phone (717-872-3999). Non-MU students must first be admitted in order to register. Contact the Admissions Office at 717-872-3371 (undergraduates) or Graduate Office at 717-872-3030 (graduate students). Once admitted, you may register using MAX, which is available by web/phone until the Friday before a class begins.

I cannot get to the MU campus this summer. Are there any online courses available?
Yes, Millersville University has a distance learning program, MUOnline. We offer a variety of courses and workshops online, so that students can attend classes from virtually anywhere! Please see the MUOnline website for further information, or contact 717-872-3030.

How much will summer courses cost?

How will taking a summer course affect my financial aid?
Contact the Financial Aid Office at (717) 872-3026 for information or visit www.millersville.edu/~finaid.

Will the courses I take at Millersville University in the summer transfer back to my college or university?
Most MU courses are accepted by other two and four-year institutions. Always check with your adviser to make sure that the courses will be accepted. We strongly recommend you do this before registering. Before you complete your MU course, fill out a Transcript Request form in our Registrar’s Office. This will ensure that your college receives a record of your MU credits as soon as possible after the course is completed.

How can I update my mailing address for the University's records?
To update your mailing address, please complete the Address Update and Emergency Contact Information form.

May I park on campus?
All students are welcome to bring a car and park on campus during summer sessions. Visit the University Police Office in Lebanon House to obtain a permit. For more information, contact University Police at (717) 872-3433 or www.millersville.edu/~police/parking.html.

May I live on campus?
All students are welcome to live in campus residence halls and enjoy a variety of on-campus recreational opportunities. For more information about fees for room and board or to reserve a room for Summer 2 or Summer 3, contact Housing and Residential Programs at (717) 872-3162 or visit the housing website.

What is there to do in Millersville in the summer?
Many summer activities await you on-campus at Millersville University! Get involved with other students in summer sports and activities, dine and shop in Lancaster, or travel to nearby Philadelphia or Baltimore. Lancaster is central to many exciting places and activities.

How will I get around if I don’t have a car on campus?

The Red Rose Transit Authority is Lancaster’s public transportation. The bus travels throughout the area. Lancaster also has a train station, which provides transportation to many major cities on the east coast.
