SWATs are expected to report for their shifts when scheduled. Habitual lateness will result in disciplinary action.
Hours worked must be recorded on the Bi-Weekly Paysheet, which can be found posted in your work area. If you have any questions about anything regarding these paysheets, they should be directed to your staff supervisor or Josh. The two week pay period runs from Saturday through Friday. You may expect your first paycheck two weeks after you turn in your first paysheet. You may pick your paycheck up from the secretary on the second floor at Boyer. Please remember to bring your ID when you pick up your check.
It is absolutely essential that you follow these guidelines when turning in hours for a given pay period:
You do NOT have the right to ignore, change, or alter any procedures set by the SWAT Team Program! If you have a concern about a procedure or feel something needs to be changed, please bring it up to Diane Duell, Al Unrath, Stephen Gadsby, Mike Dulay, or Josh Hartranft.
If an incident involving an SWAT is considered a severe violation in lab policy, handbook regulations, or work behavior, Veronica may cite the SWAT with a written warning or terminate the SWAT immediately regardless of the number of previous offenses. This is left solely to the discretion of Veronica based on the situation at hand.
