PHOTOGRAPHY Photography teaches participants to use both digital and 35mm cameras. The camp is split into two parts. The first portion covers camera operation, lighting techniques, film development, producing contact prints and enlargements with emphasis on aesthetic and technical aspects including composition, depth of field, and shutter speed for black and white photography. The second portion focuses on digital imaging, where students will learn scanning procedures, digital alteration, and image correction. Industry standard software, Adobe Photoshop, will be utilized. Photography supplies will be available; however, students are encouraged to bring their own cameras (both digital and 35mm).*Students will need to exlpore the campas to capture images in pairs.
