Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the MBA Program, an applicant must have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the United States, or the equivalent from a similar institution abroad, by the date they will begin the program. A completed application must be accompanied by official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, a valid GMAT score, three letters of reference from professional sources unrelated to the candidate, a resume of all business and professional experience, a statement of the candidate's goals and objectives and a $35, non-refundable, application fee. The GMAT score must be less than five years old. In addition, international applicants must submit results showing that they have scored 500 or higher on the TOEFL exam.

Through their undergraduate educational experiences, or other appropriate measures, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in functional areas of business. Ordinarily they must have satisfactorily completed courses in accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, statistics, computer technology, writing and communication (selected prerequisites and transfer credits must be less than five years old. Contact the program director for specific courses.). While most graduates from nationally accredited business programs will meet these requirements, those applicants whose undergraduate field is other than business may have some deficiencies. These normally can be resolved by taking appropriate undergraduate courses and/or selected graduate survey courses. Students must earn a "C" or better in these courses. It is expected that any such deficiencies will be made up prior to enrolling beyond nine Millersville graduate credits.
