Events

University Christian Fellowship seeks to provide many God-honoring activities and events. They include coffeehouses, gym nights, hiking trips, lunches, community service projects, mission trips, concerts, seminars, and weekly worship opportunities.

 

Fall Events 2009

Saturday, Noveber 21 - Men's Breakfast
The men of UCF are gathering for a good breakfast & spiritual encouragement. Join with other men who are persuing what it means to be a godly man and being real about the struggles involved with that. Potter House at 9:00am.

Sunday, November 29 - Evening Service
We'll be returning from Thanksgiving break. Service begins at 7:00pm.

Sunday, December 6 - Senior Commissioning
Come support our graduating seniors as they are commissioned to go from Millersville to take Jesus wherever they go. Chryst Hall room 210. 5:00pm light dinner 5:45 commissioning service. Those being commissioned are: Emily Hendricks Stone, Becca Lefever, Marie Lorah, Jess Jacobson, Abby Fryling, and Kristy Windle.

 

Looking Ahead....

Friday, December 11 - Christmas Caroling
We will be caroling at President McNairy's home. This is one of her (and our) favorite events. Come enjoy spreading some christmas cheer...with cookies and hot chocolate included! Meet at the Brook's tennis courts at 5:25pm.

Saturday, December 12 - Christmas Extravaganza
Join us for an evening of Christmas finery. There will be a buffet dinner, games, music, and more fun things planned. All this will take place in the SMC MPR. Doors will open at 5:00pm with dinner at 5:30pm. Our theme for this year is "The Twelve Songs of Christmas" Tickets are required due to limited space. Cost is $12 per person. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the planning committee. Those members are: Duane & Kris Metzler, Rose Boettinger, Tommy Jensen, Kelly Tockett, Anna Nobbs, Amy Lesher, Chris Le, Nate Wardle, Becca Thompson, and Kirsten Dively. Don't delay, buy your tickets! Dress is semi-formal (meaning, wear the fanciest thing you have without having to buy or rent something. Girls, grab your old prom dresses when home for Thanksgiving, Guys, grab your suit while at home...or at least nice pants, shirt and tie.)

Other Activities...
There are other activities that my yet show up on the schedule, such as: Men's brunches at Potter House, seminars, Community member gatherings, Christmas caroling, senior commissioning in December and worship nights. Please check back regularly to find out what's going on!
