ESL Specialist Certification Program
Millersville University is an approved provider of the ESL Program Specialist Certification. Earning the certification will equip K-12 educators with the skills and abilities to teach culturally and linguistically diverse students in inclusive classrooms.
The program uses a cohort approach and consists of 6 courses, delivered in a blended format. The cohort will meet three Saturdays with additional instruction delivered online. Using a blended format, working professionals are given the flexibility to learn at times most consistent with their lifestyle.

Persons who have a valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II certificate and have enrolled in and completed the Millersville University ESL program are eligible to receive ESL add-on certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
