Admissions guidelines and Application process

  • Students should be juniors or seniors in high school
  • Students should have exhausted all or most of the academically challenging coursework offered by their high school
  • Students should at least meet, or preferably exceed, typical admissions guidelines. Recommended criteria for the 2016-2017 year included A’s and B’s in all core courses (approximately 3.5 GPA), 21 ACT and/or 1000 SAT score (reading/math)
  • Students should submit an electronic application for Dual Enrollment, available on the admissions website
    • Starting October 2016, paper applications will no longer be accepted
  • Students must select courses from the approved course list, available on the admissions website. Students should only apply for courses they wish to enroll in. Millersville will no longer request first, second and third choices; we will do our best to honor the course(s) you wish to take
    • We recommend that students apply for fall classes no later than May 15th, and spring classes no later than November 15th, for best placement opportunities
