- Married to MU alumnus, Lori Miller (1977) with two children, Chris (MU 2009) and Meghan (Duquesne 2012).
- Annual contributor to MU since 1980.
- Currently serving as Executive Director for the Cy Fritz Foundation, an organization developed to raise funds to support athletic programs at MU.
- Served as Event Manager for youth summer development programs at MU in Track & Field for over 20 years.
- Serving as event director for various community running events including: Millersville Turkey Trot, Red Rose Run and the Race Against Racism.
- Serving as event Director for the MU T&F program managing various Invitational events.
- Continuing to be active by running or bicycling on a daily basis.
- Previously involved with various programs at MU including: Lancaster Partnership - Chair,
Millersville University Corporate University - Advisory Board Member, Millersville University Athletic Society - Chair, Millersville University Blue Ribbon Task Force for Athletics
