About the Exhibition ...

Moments that Remain is an exhibition that invites its viewers to consider their relationship to their past and moments that may have stuck with them. Memories are important, they make up a large part of our identity and purpose as individuals. Our memories have shaped us. They are part of our personalities, our beliefs, and our identity. Often, we remember good and bad moments, with both being important to who we are and who we might become. In this exhibition, Gabrielle focuses on her joyous memories from life. All her hand-crafted jewelry pieces and paintings touch on her moments of love from her family and the natural world around her.  Each piece acts as a time capsule to help capture her fleeting memories and feelings.

About the Artist ...

Gabrielle Rudig was born in Lakewood, Washington. She will graduate in 2023 earning both a BFA in Art with a concentration in Fine Art Metals and a BSE in Art Education. Gabby currently lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is in the process of creating her own at-home studio to pursue her jewelry making. Her work is inspired by the natural world, specifically in Montana where she visits her family and explores the unique, imperfect shapes of nature.
