Student Jobs On Campus
Working On Campus
Students have the option of working on campus in any area where employment is available. Each year over 1,500 Millersville students earn money, build transferrable skills, and accumulate valuable work experience by working on campus.
If you anticipate being a student employee during your time at Millersville, your first step is to visit the Student Payroll Services section of the Human Resources website. You will want to start the process in advance, since federal and Pennsylvania law require that student workers have an original Social Security card and clear three background clearances before they can work. You can find Student Employee Instructions on Obtaining the Background Clearances on the Forms Section of the Human Resources website.
Finding an On Campus Job
There are a number of different ways to find a job on campus.
1. Search the MU Career Connection job database for part-time, on-campus job postings (click on the jobs tab, select Part-Time, use the Search Keyword “MU” ). Many departments on campus manage their own hiring and selection process directly.
