Internship Registration Sessions
Registering Internship Experiences for Academic Credit
To earn academic credit for an internship experience, students must attend an Internship Registration session.
Before you sign up for a session, Experiential Learning and Career Management (ELCM) must have the following information so we can generate your Internship Registration form:
- Request for Internship Form - signed by your major or minor department internship coordinator.
- Internship Report Form - which provides your employer name, internship title, job description, and site supervisor contact information (name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.)
To sign-up for a Registration session, log in to Career Connection with your MU credentials. Click here for instructions. All sessions will be held virtually. You will receive an email with more information, including a Zoom link, two days prior to your scheduled session.
Please note you must pay for tuition for a credit-bearing internship.
Deadlines to register your internship for academic credits for the Fall and Spring Terms are the drop/add deadlines.
If you are seeking an internship for a future semester, please review these Internship Approval and Registration Steps to start your search now. Once you submit a Request for Internship form, start using Career Connection to search for internships or schedule an Internship Seeking appointment with a staff member.
Need A Course To Hold A Spot For Your Internship?
Please use an internship placeholder CRN, instead of registering for a random course to hold a spot in your fall or spring schedule while you complete the internship approval process. This allows your classmates to have access to those valuable seats.
If you found an internship and intend to register it for academic credit, call ELCM (717-871-7655) for a CRN for the internship placeholder course. We need some information from you before YOU can add the placeholder course to your schedule.
