Welcome to Millersville University!   

To help you through your new employment process, complete the following tasks as soon as possible:

New Employee Checklist

STEP 1 - Documents needed prior to your first day

  • Sign and return your appointment letter.
  • Complete and submit original Child Abuse History Clearances for the Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance) and Act 114 (FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting). 
  • I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form  IMPORTANT! You must use Internet Explorer to complete the I-9 form. Complete section 1, print, and sign/date. – Complete, sign and return to HR the Employee Information and Attestation, Section 1, of the form.  Your appointment is conditional upon your providing proof of employment authorization as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act.

STEP 2 - Needed within the first three days

STEP 3 - IMPORTANT:  Within your first week of employment, login to Employee Self Service (ESS) and use the My First Days link to complete your employment record including your direct deposit and Employee’s Withholding (W-4) information.
