Ms. Andie Petrillo

Andie Petrillo is the Administrative Assistant in Integrated Studies. Prior to this position, she served as an Adjunct Instructor of English at Millersville teaching English 110: Composition from 2019-2021 where she had Integrated Studies students in her classes. She holds a B.A. in English from Mount St. Mary's University and an M.A. in English from Millersville University. Her thesis was "Modernizing Jane Austen: The Success of Transmedia Storytelling." She has published two articles in MUsings the graduate journal at Millersville "Immersed in Jane Austen: 'Emma Approved' and Multiplatforms" and "Satirizing the New Woman in Victorian England." She has presented at several conferences including the Northeastern Modern Language Association, the Association of the Pennsylvania Universities, and Made in Millersville. She has also provided service to the University in the past through helping with the 2018 MU Literary Festival, serving on the One Book, One Campus Committee in 2018-2020, assisting with the National Day on Writing in 2018, and moderating a digital presentation "Reading with OER/ Digital Materials" during OER Week in 2019.
