1:00 - 3:00 PM | MATH AND CHEMISTRY PLACEMENT ASSESSMENTS (IF NECESSARY)
Caputo Hall Lobby
All students must transfer a 100-level (or higher) Math course or complete the University’s Math Placement Test and/or Basic Skills Test. Early Childhood, Special Education, and Middle-Level Education majors need to take the Basic Skills Test. All other majors need to take the Math Placement Test. The Math Placement Test is 30 minutes. The Basic Skills Test is 50 minutes.
Students who might take a Chemistry course should take the Chemistry Placement Test after completing the Math Placement Test. The Chemistry Placement Test is 30 minutes.
You are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to complete these assessments today. Calculators are not permitted on any of the assessments.

Family members are encouraged to have a last meal with their students before departing campus. Students and families may choose to dine off-campus or sample the food in the Gordinier Hall Upper Deck. The residential students’ meal in the dining hall is covered by the student’s orientation fee; parents and family members will pay the MU community rate.

The Immense Power of Telling Your Authentic Story
Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center, Clair Performance Hall
This workshop is a means of educating the participant on the effects of media, societal perception, and, more specifically, how it shapes how we view “reality.” We explore the constant bombardment of media images and how these images shape the perception of self, community, and, ultimately, the world, as well as how to counteract the effects. The participants will be taken through the process of how positive voices are cultivated via various forms of media and the positive results thereby produced.
