New Residential Student Orientation

Your Orientation Program: August 21-23, 2020

The University is committed to providing high quality instruction this fall to ensure our students' academic progress and success. Please see the University's COVID Updates page for the most current information related to the fall semester.

New residential students will attend the Arrival Orientation Program scheduled for Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23, 2020. Note that this program coincides with the move-in to campus residence halls.

Orientation will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • connect with faculty and students in your field of study
  • learn more about the MU community and its expectations for you as a citizen
  • sample meals in the University dining hall
  • obtain your Marauder OneCard (student ID), purchase textbooks, and take care of any last minute business
  • participate in some Millersville University traditions

Fall Orientation Information

Orientation Fee

New residential students are required to attend orientation much in the same way that students are required to attend classes. A fee of $335 is included in your semester bill to cover the expenses associated with the program (semesterly housing and meal plans do not start until Saturday). Our commitment to campus service providers and material costs prevents the issuing of refunds should you be unable to attend the program.
